
Perhaps the one thing that pisses me off more than white folks telling poc that they understand our plight (discrimination/racism), is when other poc attempt to use the black experience as a way to explain their own. We stand in solidarity, but we are not the same people. I don’t know your struggle and you don’t know mine. This isn’t xerox oppression. Give me a call when your family is stranded on the Ship Amistad or when your father is hanging from a tree, dismembered, for supposedly looking at a white girl. *Drops Mic*
